Fundraisers

I am helping with two fundraisers this week. Both fundraisers are offering character edits in exchange for donations. Any amount would help. The first is to help the co worker of a fellow writer while she is out of work after a major medical procedure.

Extra: HUMAN KITE

You waved goodbye to Wendy and Bebe as they got into their parents' cars before turning onto your heels and walking your way home, your house situated by Kyle’s closest to the tracks. Stretching, you flinch as a raindrop hits your nose. “Shit” you hiss as you rush into a covered alley entrance and start out into the rain “maybe I should call Ken, he’d come get me as mysterion..” you say as you pull your phone out, mentally crying as it's dead. You let out a sigh before starting to take a step into the rain when a hand grabbed you back and yanked you into the dark mouth of the alleyway coming face to face with a large teenager looming over you. “Hello again y/n” he whispers as he plays with a stand of your hair, a slimy smirk painting his face. “[Redacted] leave me alone, you’ve done enough” you say, starting to shake. The teenager moves forward to grab you when someone jumps down and knocks him sideways “hands off the girl” a slightly deepened yet still squeaky voice demands. You look over and see the human kite, he quickly moves you away from the teenager rolling around on the ground while looking you over “are you alright?” He asks, his voice familiar under the crackling of his attempted Batman voice. You nod slightly before clearing your throat “thank you for saving me, I was going to call mysterion but my phone is dead” you respond, kite’s face grows angry before clearing his throat and attempting to puff out his chest. “Allow me to fly you home, I’ll make sure you stay safe” he says. You nod, allowing the hero to awkwardly wrap his arms around you and fly into the sky. As you pass the U store it facilities close to your home he suddenly drops onto the roof and looks around letting you go. “Hold on a moment, I think I hear something” he says before racing off and flying further into the facility. You sigh and throw your hands up, your jacket and clothes completely soaked through at this point causing you to shiver and sit down to preserve some type of body heat. After what felt like hours a small figure makes his way towards you “um.. golly, you okay over here ma’am?” The voice calls. You shoot your head up “butters? Is that you?” You ask, your voice cracking from the soreness in your throat. There’s a gasp as the smaller boy rushes to your side and quickly looks you over “y/n! You're pale! How long have you been out here?” He asks, pulling out his phone to text someone.

“I dunno bunny, I was helped by the human kite but he said he heard something and had to check it out then vanished” you respond while shivering. The blonde sighs and puts his phone back in his pocket, wrapping his cape around you to help warm you up. “I texted Kenny, he said he’s on his way, let’s get you down” he says, hefting you into his arms and quickly parkcoring off the roof and onto the ground, as soon as your feet hit the pavement your covered in another jacket the hood fur lined, the scent of cigarettes and cinnamon waft into your brain warming you instantly. “Y/n, bubba, you ok?” The rough and warm voice of Kenny reaches your ears, you look up locking eyes with blue ones. Nodding quickly you rush into a hug as he leads you home to get you out of the rain, butters tagging along while making jokes.

Shadowheart: "She was starting to trust you. The only one she ever has. Pity it's coming to an end."

Wyll: "He adores you so blindly. Like a pup. Don't you find it sickening?"
